What I want from a trivia game
A topic I care about, a few good questions and a reason to have another go. That's the idea behind TriviaFall.
Topic-based trivia with short, focused matches is what drew me to the genre in the first place, and it's the design this game is built around. I'm starting with eight broad topics. More specific ones can follow once there's enough good content to support them.
How matches work
A match has seven questions. Correct answers earn points, and answering quickly helps. You can play against a recorded run or a practice bot. The game tells you which before you start.
You earn progress and titles in the topics you play. Solo and untimed Free Flow are there for practice too.
Where things stand
The browser app is up and playable now, and Android is in closed testing on Google Play. Live 1v1, friends and challenges, leaderboards, and private invite-code rooms are all in.
Topic depth and question quality keep growing from real play — every match has a report button, and that's the main way issues get caught and fixed.
Follow the work
I'll post updates in the dev log. If you'd like to help test the Android version, send a beta enquiry.
